Product description
The HF70 LongRange (LR) RFID reader communicates with passive transponders on an HF frequency of 13.56 MHz (ISO 15693, I-Code, Tag-it, Infineon my-d, Infineon my-d secure, Philips EPC and Philips UID).
Captured data is sent on a serial RS232 or Ethernet interface.
The device is specifically intended for applications that require reading ability over longer distances. Depending on the type of transponder used and surrounding conditions, the HF70 can read over a range of up to 120 cm.
At the push of a button the device transforms into a tuning mode. Here the system adapts to the conditions around it and tunes the antenna for optimal reading and writing range. Another feature is a test button that allows the user to check all functions in an active operation without disrupting the actual system.
Four antenna terminals make the HF70 especially suitable for applications with a large number of reading points and for gate solutions. The result is substantially reduced RFID integration costs.
For optimum configuration of the RFID system, Brooks offers a matching HF RFID antenna in frame form or individually attuned antenna solutions.
As an option the HF70 LR RFID reader can be delivered with WLAN capability.
