FUNKY AC
Access control FUNKY as network option
The FUNKY AC version is intended for use in a network. Every possibility of access can be centrally administered, from a driveway into an underground garage, from an entrance right through to a locker.
FUNKY enables variable administration of access authorization. Individual allocation of user rights is possible for each reader.
Coordination of access control FUNKY
At the heart of the FUNKY access control system is a decoder called the FUNKY AC box, linked by a LON network to reader and relay stations. Up to 15 readers can work on one FUNKY AC box. In operation of the system, data are saved locally in the FUNKY AC decoders.
In this way each subsystem works independently, and will not suffer any data loss in the event of a power failure. An Ethernet link connects the access control to a standalone PC or a PC network (LAN), where it can be operated from any workstation.
Authorization data are held in what are called definition files in flash memory of the FUNKY AC box. Here the administrator is able to alter the files at any time and re-enter them on the Ethernet.
