Product description
The LF60 SoliD RFID reader, with its wide range of technical features and favourable price, combines cost efficiency and high performance.
It communicates with passive transponders on an LF frequency of 134.2 kHz. Data output is on an RS232 or RS485 interface – inquire for an Ethernet interface.
The reader is designed for use in 300 mm load ports, and comes with functionality and dimensions that make it a 1:1 substitute for Advantech architectures. For data communication there are the two protocols SECS and ASCII – inquire for HSMS. An automatic protocol recognition arranges for a fast plug & play solution. Regardless of which protocol in use the reader recognizes it and and handles the communication with it.
To make sure installation is correct, the reader is put into a test mode at the push of a button in which read and write capability is checked and inspected. A number of integrated LEDs show the particular operating status.
The RFID reader also features functionality to inspect antennas. If an antenna or its lead is defective the reader issues a fault message.
The RFID Reader LF60 SoliD is supported by all Brooks LF60 antennas.
