Product description

Highly reliable and cost efficient, the RFID reader LF60CM SoliD is also designed for small-scale auto-ID solutions in industry. It is particularly suitable for tough environments requiring read ranges of up to 20 cm.

The device communicates with passive TIRISTM transponders on an LF frequency of 134.2 kHz. Captured data are sent via a serial interface (RS232) to the higher-level system.

A DIP switch allows the reader to be run in a test mode in which read/write ranges can be easily checked on site without a PC being needed.

Operating status is indicated by four integrated LEDs. A new antenna monitoring function has been added - if an antenna cable is faulty or disconnected, the device issues a warning. An external indication and trigger sensor can be connected via a Phoenix terminal.

An LED for showing the operating or read status, or a sensor for triggering the read cycle can also be connected. Four different standard antennas with SMA connectors and with cable lengths of up to 5 m are available.
