Product description
The Brooks RFID reader LF60C SoliD, with its wide range of technical features and favorable price, combines cost efficiency and high performance.
It communicates with passive TIRISTM transponders on an LF frequency of 134.2 kHz. Captured data are sent via a serial interface (RS232) to the higher-leverl system. In conjunction with a LF60 Gateway, the RFID reader LF60C SoliD can be supplied with an RS485 interface.
The reader is designed for use in 300/200 mm load ports. For data communication there are the two protocols: SECS and ASCII (A or B). An automatic protocol recognition allows for a fast plug & play solution. Regardless of which protocol is used the reader recognizes it and handles the communication accordingly.
An automatic antenna calibration can be started by using a DIP switch. The system adapts to its surroundings and adjusts the optimized read/write range for the selected antenna.
The reader offers a visual test mode for easy integration. Read and write capability can be tested by using DIP switches. A number of integrated LEDs display the particular operating status. The RFID reader also features functionality to inspect antennas and automatically recognizes hardware errors.
The Brooks RFID reader LF60C SoliD supports all standard Brooks RFID LF antennas.
