Identification via the latest RFID technology
The latest RFID technology makes identification possible without bodily or visual contact. Persons are given their own ID medium granting them access to particular rooms or buildings. Loss of a data medium does not mean costly replacements in a security system, because the lost ID is simply programmed as no longer having access authorization.
FUNKY access control works by RFID technology on a frequency of 13.56 MHz. Once an ID medium is detected by a FUNKY reader, it sends the transponder data to the system, which decodes them and administers access authorization.
ID media have their own code that is unique worldwide and cannot be copied. They function as tamper-proof electronic identity discs. These data media come in the form of card transponders, socalled FUNKY cards, that are easily identified through all non-conducting materials -- plastic, glass, paper, textiles and the like.
Access data are administered by user-friendly FUNKY WEBMANAGER software, a Web-based database application.
FUNKY is highly versatile because it comes as a standard undersurface solution for installation. Security in network use is ensured by authenticated LON technology. Different configuration levels enable matching of functionality and security to individual requirements.
