From Brooks Automation comes the LF40 THR, an easily operated RFID reader to move transponder data to a PC on standard interfaces. All it takes to complete the system is a keypad connected to the PC. Then you simply link the handheld reader to the PC by a USB or PS2 cable to read the transponder.
Pressing a button initiates reading. Proper identification is confirmed by an audible signal and flashing LED.
Acquired data are transfered on the PS2 or USB interface to the PC, where they can be shown and further processed in any entry field or a text document.
Configuration of the RFID reader is by a setup button. Settings can be altered at the push of a button and presented in an onscreen text document. Data are displayed in ASCII or hex format.
The LF40 RFID reader THR is available with a PS2 or USB 2.0 interface. TLH-U1K-0R50-SM-0010 | USB connection | TLH-K1K-0R50-SM-0010 | PS2 connection |
