This wise old saying still counts, especially where initial steps are taken to work with RFID technology. Accordingly, to pave the way for newcomers, Brooks Automation GmbH offers a user-friendly RFID Starter Kit. Designed as a set of HF building blocks (13.56 MHz), it contains all components that are required to configure a given RFID application.
Delivery includes one HF reader with serial interface, one mini-antenna, one frame antenna, and two HF card transponders. Both antennas may concurrently work with the reader which provides porting facilities for up to five antennas.
A comprehensive set of accessories and power supply items, as well as extender cables for antennas and RS232 interfaces will help you to adapt the system so it can be operated in an easy, more individualized manner.
A test software package for Windows environments completes the Brooks Starter Kit.
