ISO 9001: Brooks Automation successfully recertified!

On January 20th DEKRA carried out a recertification audit at Brooks Automation. At the location in Mistelgau the quality system of the RFID Division was hereby carefully examined. As in the previous years the certificate had been sucessfully extended for another year based on the DIN Standard ISO 9001.
Since the foundation of the company the RFID Divison at the location in Mistelgau deals with RFID technology. Since that time the international markets and with it the requirements concerning the company and its management system changed decisively.
In order to support the demand of our customers regarding quality, in 2003 Brooks Automation decided to arrange the prevailing QM system according to the guidelines of DIN ISO 9001:2001. In December of the very same year the RFID division was successfully certified for the first time.
On January 20th this certificate has been extended by DEKRA for another year. Meanwhile the QM system has been adapted to version 2008 of ISO 9001 and consequently is at the latest level.
