RFID reader THR with USB port now in Trovan version (125 kHz)
RFID manufacturer Brooks Automation is expanding its product portfolio. Obtainable straight away is the mobile RFID scanner THR in a Trovan version working at a frequency of 125 kHz.
In the mobile THR reader in a Trovan version, Brooks Automation is now offering a handheld product for the entire Trovan bandwidth, an RFID scanner capable of identifying transponders on the 125 kHz frequency of Trovan technology. The device is very compact in its ergonomic plastic case and features a USB interface, making it easy to install even by users without prior knowledge.
Scanner and PC are connected by the USB port. The reader is then automatically installed by the system, and is immediately ready to operate. The user initializes the reading operation at the press of a button, and receives the particular transponder ID. This can be displayed in any text-based application such as a text editor or MS Word. Power and status LEDs signal the operating condition of the device.
RFID reader THR is ideal for PC-based applications because of the simple and speedy connection and startup. Users need no RFID expertise or experience, and can commence data readout straight away.
