Beer & Bites: RFID introduces Upper Franconian beer culture to the CeBIT
Joint stand of RFID supplier Brooks Automation and “Bierland Oberfranken” at trade show
It’s that time again! Beginning March, CeBIT, the world’s largest IT fair, will open its doors. Also represented this year will be two exhibitors from Upper Franconia, merging their offerings into one exceptional solution.
It’s that time again! Beginning March, CeBIT, the world’s largest IT fair, will open its doors. Also represented this year will be two exhibitors from Upper Franconia, merging their offerings into one exceptional solution.
At the shared booth of Bayern Innovativ in hall 9 B 20, Brooks Automation and the association of Bierland Oberfranken invite to a beer tasting of the special kind. The supplier of RFID solutions and the marketing association allow to virtually and corporeally tasting beer.
Brooks Automation presents an interactive RFID terminal, showing several kinds of Upper Franconian beer. Upon taking up a bottle of beer, the RFID solution is activated and displays valuable information on the brewery and chosen kind of beer. Nine different kinds of beer are part of the team, each representing one of the nine Upper Franconian districts.
In the evening of 4th March at 6 p.m., Bayern Innovativ invites all visitors to a booth party. Along with Brooks Automation’s virtually presented beer, all beers are served corporeally and a master brewer will give insights into the processes of brewing. The catering will be complemented by an original Franconian “Brotzeit”.
