More powerful RFID reader in HF demo system
We have upgraded our HF evaluation kit, adding new and more powerful components. This RF demo kit (13.56 MHz frequency) now comes with the HF80 MidRange reader, scaled for ranges up to about 50 cm. The system also includes a wide choice of antennas and transponders, meaning the user has a high-quality and versatile system to experiment with.
Brooks RFID Division is now marketing a significantly upgraded version of its RFID demonstration system to operate at a frequency of 13.56 MHz, featuring a more powerful reader plus a number of antennas and transponders.
The system centers on the HF80 MidRange reader – a device that implements ranges of up to 50 cm depending on the antenna and transponder operated with it. Its high transmitting power means it achieves satisfactory reading ranges in metallic surroundings too. Cost is also attractive, as it comes with five antenna terminals and is powered over Ethernet.
The RFID demo system is rounded off by four different antennas and nine transponders, matched to a variety of environments and space demands.
The RFID system is offered in a stable plastic case. Interested users can loan the demo kit free of charge for a limited period, or are able to purchase it for 1,999 euros.
